Biography:
Tukker was born on June 17th, 1993 to Karen and Bruce Broda, in Sault Ste Marie. Music was almost entirely absent from his childhood, save for the occasional rock and roll on the radio from his father, and country and pop from his mother. His parents split when he was six, and his step father, Jason Patry, would make country music a major part of his life. From that point on, Country music made up the bulk of his listening habits, with almost no rock. He purchased his first instrument, a keyboard from a garage sale, when he was 10.

That same year, he began writing simple songs, which could be considered pop-country. He showed classmates, but after negative responses, he gave up on writing. 5 years later, after a break up left him upset and lost, he again turned to writing. Starting with the song "My Fault", within the next 3 months, over 15 songs were written. These songs were less pop-country, and more of a blend between neo-traditional country and country-rock. He purchased his first guitar, a $400 Ibanez Electric Acoustic, on his 16th birthday, and began taking guitar lessons.

His next major shift in music would take place due to another girl. This girl completely changed Tukker's taste in music, moving it away from country, and into the various kinds rock. Despite only being part of his life for a little over 3 months, very few people have had as much impact on his music. Several songs were written while they were together, including "Do You Want to Make a Moment", "Everyday", "Your Heart Has Scars", and "In Her Eyes". Also, the song "When We Were Innocent" was based off a poem she wrote. The eventual breakup lead to many other songs, such as "Half a Man", "Jessica", "Without You" and partly inspired "(Under Her) Over You", and "Trampstamp".

Today, Tukker's writing has spread to many other topics, such as death, the effect of drugs, sex, alcohol, family, prejudice, and many more topics. Tukker has focused most of his writing on material for RXN, but also has several songs which doesn't fit the band's sound. These songs are planned to be released on Tukker's solo album, named One last Second Chance. His solo album is a soft rock album, featuring many acoustic tracks, in which Tukker plays all the instruments.
